The works of the Holy Spirit in you

 



"But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking." Acts 6:10

The Holy Spirit is the precious gift God has given us. And Jesus clearly said, "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you." John 16:7

Therefore, we see that God gave us the Holy Spirit to be our helper because He knows our weaknesses. The Word of God says, "for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:5, so it's clear that we need the Holy Spirit in our lives.

In today's passage, we see how Stephen was Bold and wise, making his enemies fail to contend with him. With the Holy Spirit within you, you can overcome every challenge and tactic of the enemy.

The Word of God says, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you..." Acts 1:8. This power enables us to stand strong and be victorious in every situation and challenge.

Today, I pray that this power of the Holy Spirit to be upon you, and enable you to overcome every challenge and succeed in all your endeavors.

Prayer: Thank you, Father, for your Holy Spirit who dwells within me. Holy Spirit, I surrender to you, make me strong and victorious in every spiritual and life challenge. Amen.

THE WISEST THING TO DO IN YOUR LIFE

MISPLACED FEAR

Matthew 10:28  (NKJV) says: “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”   This is a direct call from Jesus to correct our fears. Many people fear human threats, sickness, poverty, storms, or death. Yet Jesus reminds us that these things can only touch the body. The true danger is sin, because it separates us from God and leads to eternal destruction. The only fear that matters is the fear of God, for He alone holds the destiny of both the body and soul. One day I was in a garage fixing my car.
