JOEL 2 Joel 2 reminds us that repentance isn’t God pushing us away—it’s God calling us back. When the Lord says, “Even now, return to me with all your heart” (Joel 2:12), it’s full of hope. Even now means right where you are, in the middle of real life, God is still inviting you to turn back to Him. He’s not asking for religious performances or dramatic displays, which is why He says, “Rend your heart and not your garments” (Joel 2:13). God is simply asking for honesty. He wants our hearts, not our acting. And the reason we can come back without fear is because He is gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, and full of love—always ready to receive us. David describes this same experience so personally in Psalm 32. He says, “Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven” (Psalm 32:1), and then he admits how heavy life felt when he tried to hide his sin. He talks about feeling worn down and exhausted until he finally brought everything into the open before God. The mom...
“Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isaiah 3:10 NKJV This is a powerful word of hope as you begin this month. God assures you that your good deeds will not be in vain, but you will reap their rewards. This is an unchanging promise—that the righteous will receive their due rewards according to what they have done. God has seen you, He has heard your prayers, and He is coming with answers for you. This is not a time for discouragement but...
Daniel 12:3 (GNT) says, “The wise leaders will shine with all the brightness of the sky. And those who have taught many people to do what is right will shine like the stars forever.” This verse speaks about the reward God will give His faithful people on the last day. Those who live with wisdom and lead others to righteousness will shine like stars in the sky—forever. What a powerful promise! Today, I want to teach you how to be wise so you can receive this reward. The Bible says in James 1:5 (NKJV), “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God...” This means wisdom comes from God, and He is willing to give it to anyone who asks. When you receive God’s wisdom, you will learn how to live the right way and make decisions that please Him. You will also have the power to guide others. The wisest thing you can ever do in life is to preach the Gospel—to help people turn away from sin and accept Jesus Christ. That is the kind of wisdom that brings eternal rewards. Also, if you ...
