DON'T DOUBT YOURSELF, YOU ARE BLESSED BY GOD

"His master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand." Genesis 39:3 (NIV)

The first thing I want you to notice in this verse is that "There is a special grace and ability God has placed in you." This understanding will help you overcome self-doubt, lack of confidence, and uncertainty about your potential. Here, we see Potiphar recognizing the power and blessing of God upon Joseph. So, even if you don’t see the ability in yourself, others have already noticed it.

Failing or encountering setbacks doesn’t mean you lack ability. Not at all. Joseph’s life was full of challenges and rejection. His brothers rejected him, plotted to kill him, and eventually sold him into slavery. Despite all this, when he arrived in Egypt as a slave, his employer recognized that everything Joseph did was blessed.

Joseph was a person who made others’ ventures successful, while his own life remained stagnant. Even in prison, he interpreted dreams for others, which led to their success, but he remained behind bars. Was it because he lacked ability or wasn’t blessed by God? Absolutely not!

Today, I remind you that God has a purpose for your life, and in His timing, you will prosper. Believe in yourself and the abilities within you, even if your current circumstances are not ideal. What is required of you is diligence and patience—never give up on yourself.

Joseph never gave up. Even when tempted by Potiphar’s wife, he refused to sin. He could have established a relationship with her to gain wealth and material benefits, but he chose not to. Sadly, some people, discouraged by delayed success, turn to destructive habits such as drinking, immorality, or theft.

Today, believe that there is power within you, and trust that God will bring success in His time. Don’t be afraid to start something new out of fear of failure. God is with you and will make you prosper.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank you for the blessings and ability you have placed in me. Help me to have confidence in myself and never to give up. Amen
