THANKSGIVING FOR 2024


"Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His steadfast love endures forever." — Psalm 107:1


It is by God’s grace that you have reached this day. This year may have brought challenges and unexpected events, but God has been with you through it all. His hand has protected and sustained you, even in the hardest moments.


Perhaps some things didn’t go as you hoped. You might have faced losses, disappointments, or even the death of loved ones. It’s easy to feel discouraged when life doesn’t go as planned. But even in those painful moments, God was there, comforting you and giving you strength to carry on.


Maybe you feel like this year passed without any significant progress. Your goals remain unachieved, and your life feels uncertain or without direction. Even so, don’t give up. Thank God for the gift of life, for every new day He has given you, and trust that His plans for you are still unfolding.


Or perhaps you faced situations where your life was in danger—an illness, an accident, or other moments of fear and hopelessness. Yet, by God’s mercy, you are here today. He answered your prayers, walked with you through the storms, and brought you to safety.


For others, this year may have been one of blessings. God answered your prayers, helped you reach your goals, or provided for your needs. If so, remember to thank Him for His kindness and grace in your life.


Whatever your situation, there is always a reason to thank God. Maybe I don’t fully know what you went through, but I know God has been good to you. He has protected, loved, and cared for you in ways you may not even realize. As Psalm 107:1 says, “Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His steadfast love endures forever.”


Let us end this year with hearts full of gratitude. Thank God for His love, His goodness, and His unchanging faithfulness. As we prepare for 2025, trust that He will continue to guide you and provide for you in the days ahead.


Prayer: Lord, I thank You for Your goodness and steadfast love throughout 2024. Thank You for protecting me, providing for me, and giving me strength. Help me to carry a heart of gratitude into the new year. I trust You with my future.

Come and share your master’s happiness!’” Matthew 25:21   The way you manage your money will determine how much God will trust you with it. In Matthew 25, a wealthy man entrusted his finances to some of his servants. He gave them each certain amounts, and when he returned, he found that some had used the money to make more money, but one servant had just hidden his in the ground. The master (who represents God) was very unhappy with this servant and called him “lazy and wicked” and even took away the little he had been entrusted with.   The master was happy with the others because no matter the amount they had been entrusted with, they used what was given to them and increased it. Choose love over judgment

"I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” Galatians 2:21 NKJV   The message today is clear and very brief. God reminds us that our righteousness is not attained through our actions but by faith in Jesus Christ. If our righteousness is obtained by faith and not by deeds, why do we judge each other? Why do we point fingers? Why do we gossip? The mouths of Christians have become very quick to judge others when they make mistakes. Let's not judge others, especially when they make mistakes. Remember that the weaknesses you judge in others, you also have, and often yours are worse than those you judge. The word of God says, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
