2025 A Year of God's Promises
"See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted." — Isaiah 52:13 (NIV)
As we step into 2025, this verse reminds us of God's promises of wisdom, restoration, and elevation. It is a year to trust in God’s plan and see His power at work in your life. Let’s look at how Isaiah 52:13 applies to us today.
The “servant” in Isaiah 52:13 refers to Jesus Christ, who lived with perfect wisdom and obedience to God. Jesus showed us what it means to act wisely—making decisions that honor God and fulfill His purpose.
In 2025, you are called to live with wisdom. This means asking God to guide your decisions, words, and actions. Proverbs 4:7 says, "Wisdom is the most important thing; so get wisdom." With wisdom, you can avoid unnecessary struggles, solve problems with grace, and walk in God’s will.
Take time to pray for wisdom every day. Before making decisions, ask God to guide you. As you seek wisdom from Him, He will give you the grace to succeed in everything you do.
Isaiah 52:13 says God’s servant will be “raised and lifted up.” This is a reminder that God is the one who lifts us to new levels. Exaltation doesn’t come from our efforts alone—it is a result of God’s favor.
James 4:10 says, "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." In 2025, expect God to bring growth in your life—spiritually, financially, and emotionally. He may open doors you never thought possible or place you in positions of influence.
This exaltation is not just for personal gain. God raises you up so that you can serve others and bring glory to His name. Stay humble and faithful, and trust Him to guide your steps.
2025 is a Year of Jubilee. The Bible connects the number 25 to the Year of Jubilee, a special time of freedom and restoration. Leviticus 25:13 says, "In this Year of Jubilee everyone is to return to their own property."
Jubilee was a time when debts were cancelled, land was restored, and people were set free. In 2025, God promises restoration in your life. If 2024 felt like a year of loss or delay, trust that God will bring back what was stolen. Joel 2:25 says, "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten."
Whether you’ve lost peace, relationships, health, or finances, trust God to restore these areas. This is also a time to return to your spiritual inheritance—to draw closer to God and live in His purpose for you.
As you enter 2025, hold on to these things and it's how you can walk in these promises:
Pray for Wisdom: Ask God to guide your decisions in your family, career, and daily life.
Stay Humble: Remember that God lifts up the humble. Trust in His timing and grace.
Expect Restoration: Believe that God will restore what you’ve lost and fulfill His plans for you.
Be Thankful: Thank God for the blessings of 2024 and trust Him for even greater things in 2025.
Let this be your declaration:
"This is my year of exaltation and Jubilee! I will walk in wisdom, trust God’s timing, and see restoration in every area of my life."
