GOD HAS SAVED YOU FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR FAMILY
"I will declare your name to my people; in the assembly, I will praise you." - Psalm 22:22 (NIV)
In every family or clan, there is one person God raises to fulfill His purpose. Without a doubt, that person is you. I want you to know that God has given you the grace to know Him so that through you, your family and relatives can be delivered from the bondage of sin and curses.
Today’s word is a prophecy given by David about the coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus came to save the whole world, but here He says, "I will declare your name to my people." Although Jesus had a great mission to save the entire world, He did not forget His own relatives. He ensured that He shared the good news of God’s kingdom with them.
This call is also for you. You must preach the word of God to your family and relatives. You are God’s messenger to them, and God is counting on you to tell them about His kingdom. However, do not preach Jesus with words only while your actions contradict what you are saying. True and effective preaching is through actions. Your behavior and character are the sermons that will lead your family to salvation.
Also, do not grow tired of sharing God’s word with them. Make every effort to ensure the message of Christ reaches them. Invite them to church or gospel meetings and, if possible, take them there yourself. Hold prayer sessions with them and even create special family prayer gatherings. Share God’s word with them by sending Bible verses or messages like this one to their phones. When you do this, it becomes your service to God and the purpose for your presence in that family.
You must preach and share the truth of the Gospel with your family without fear of how they will see you. On the last day, they should not accuse you before God of failing to tell them about Christ. So, today, decide to start this work with dedication and a heart full of love. Your reward is in Heaven.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask you to grant me wisdom and a heart that is willing to share the good news of your kingdom with my family. Take away all laziness and fear, and give me the courage to speak your truth. Amen.
