HOW TO CHANGE AND BECOME A DIFFERENT PERSON WHO LOOKS LIKE CHRIST

 "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." – 1 John 3:2 (NIV) 


By believing in Christ, you have already become a child of God, and there are many benefits that come with this special position that God has given us. Now, what we need to do is learn and understand deeply what it means to be a child of God. We must also learn how to live and walk in the position and authority of a child of God.

The Word of God says: "And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus." – Ephesians 2:6
It also says: "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God." – Colossians 3:1 So, there is a great honor and position that God has given us, but we must make a personal effort to benefit from this blessing.

Today's Bible verse tells us that we have become children of God, but there are things we do not yet know. There is a glory that has not yet been revealed to us. The verse says that when Christ is revealed, we will be changed to be like Him. This means that we cannot be transformed to look like Jesus Christ unless He is revealed to us.

In life, you can only change when you are shown something different from what you already have. If you have not seen something new and better, you will think what you have is the best. To change your behavior and character to be like the Son of God, Jesus Christ, He must be revealed to you.

There is a glory that has already been revealed to us, and there is a glory that will be revealed in the future. If you do not see the glory that has been revealed now, you will not be able to change and become a new creation.2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) says: "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 

So, when Christ is revealed to you, you are transformed to be like Him. Just as your image appears in a mirror, the more you know Jesus, the more you take on His image. The way to overcome all weaknesses, sins, and the old nature is to know Christ. If there are things still troubling you, it means you do not yet know Jesus fully. When you truly know Jesus, He will set you completely free.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I believe in You. I ask You to open my eyes and mind so that I may know You and be transformed to be like You. Amen

THE WISEST THING TO DO IN YOUR LIFE

DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS
