THE GOD YOU TRUST WILL NOT ALLOW EVIL TO BEFALL YOU
"Therefore, let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them." – Psalm 32:6 (NIV)
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by fear, wondering if something bad is about to happen? Life is full of uncertainties, but God promises that those who trust in Him will never be overcome by evil.
The Word of God says in Isaiah 55:6-7:
"Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon."
God is Always Available. Our God is always near. When you call upon Him, He hears and answers the desires of your heart. But for God to answer your prayers, you must first establish a relationship with Him and live righteously. That is why Isaiah 55:7 says, "Let the wicked forsake their ways," and God will have mercy on them. When God forgives you, you become His faithful servant.
When we turn away from sin and seek God, we don’t just receive forgiveness—we also receive His divine protection. Psalm 91:10-11 assures us: "No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." And in today’s passage, He declares: "Surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them."
The mighty waters represent overwhelming troubles—financial struggles, health crises, or personal battles. But God promises that these storms will not overtake those who seek Him. Many people live in fear, constantly worrying that something bad will happen to them. Maybe you are facing a challenge that feels impossible to overcome. But remember this: these are just the enemy’s threats—they have no real power over you. God is your protector, and He will not allow harm to come upon those who rely on Him.
Today, choose Faith Over Fear, no matter what you’re facing, choose faith over fear. Surrender your worries to God, pray, and trust that He will protect you.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I trust and rely on You. I surrender my life and plans into Your hands, knowing that You protect me, and no harm shall befall me. Amen.
