YOUR FAITH IN GOD IS ENOUGH

"Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him." – Hebrews 10:38 (NKJV)

Have you ever felt like you needed to do more to earn God's favor? Many believers struggle with the idea that faith alone is enough. But the Bible tells us that the just shall live by faith—not by works or religious rituals.

A just person is one whom God considers blameless. This righteousness is not obtained through the law or human effort but through faith—faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.

"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified." – Galatians 2:16 (NKJV)

Unfortunately, some teachings today suggest that God's blessings must be earned through financial offerings or religious rituals. Some Christians are misled into thinking they must give large amounts of money to secure prosperity or healing. But the Bible does not support this.

Your life is a result of your faith in God, not of what you give. Likewise, your deliverance comes from faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice—not from man-made conditions or transactions.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." – John 3:16 (NKJV)

Notice what it says: "Whoever believes in Him." It does not say, "Whoever gives a redemption offering" or "Whoever connects to a particular church altar." No! It simply says, "Whoever believes."

Faith Alone Pleases God. God’s Word reminds us: "Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him." – Hebrews 10:38 (NKJV)

To "drawback" means turning away from God's truth and relying on other things. This includes believing that you must do extra things besides faith to receive God’s favor. Such thinking displeases Him because it denies the sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice.

So today, Return to Simple, Genuine Faith, and examine your faith. Are you trusting in Jesus alone, or have you placed your confidence in religious actions? Some teachings can weaken your trust in God, leading you to rely on people or external rituals instead of Christ. But faith in Jesus Christ is enough—if you believe in Him, He will provide for your every need.

Salvation is free; there is nothing you can give to earn anything from God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to trust in You and the work You accomplished on the cross so that I may please You and be blessed in my life. Amen.
