GOD IS YOUR STRENGTH

“ My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:26, NKJV)

This verse teaches that even though your body may grow weak due to hardships, trials, or even sickness, God remains your true source of strength. Your heart may grow weary and discouraged, but God is the rock of your heart—He does not change, grow tired, or fade away under any circumstances. If you rely on Him, you will find the strength to stand firm, even in the most difficult situations.

You are a child of God, and your life should be led by faith, not by feelings or physical conditions. The Bible says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV). There is a constant battle between the flesh and the spirit, for they are in opposition to each other (Galatians 5:17). Your flesh may tempt you to follow its desires, but do not give in. If you stumble and fall into sin, do not let it keep you away from God. Rise up! Tell your soul, “Press on with strength!” because God's Word says, “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again.” (Proverbs 24:16, NKJV).

Furthermore, when your body is afflicted with sickness, do not focus on your weakness or lose hope. God is your strength, and He can restore and heal you. He restored Job’s health after his suffering, and He can do the same for you. Do not give up—look to the Lord, your Healer and Comforter.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for being my strength. Help me to walk by faith and not by the feelings of my body. When I stumble, lift me up again. When I am weak, give me Your strength. You have promised to be my portion forever—renew my strength each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
