TRUE DELIVERANCE AND HEALING IS IN GOD'S WORD
“He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20, NKJV).
This is a profound spiritual mystery: true healing comes from God and is found in His Word. When God sends His Word, it carries life, healing, and deliverance. But before receiving this healing, it is essential to understand the root cause of our troubles.
Psalm 107:17-19 says, “Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, were afflicted. Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near to the gates of death. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.”
This passage reveals that many of the struggles we face result from sin and iniquity. Sin brings sickness, suffering, and distress, but God is merciful. When He hears a sincere cry of repentance, He acts—He forgives, saves, and brings healing.
When God sends His Word, it carries the power to heal. However, not everyone receives this healing because not everyone seeks the Word. Many people today seek signs and miracles but neglect the Word of God. You must understand that miracles are a result of the Word, not a substitute for it.
When you need healing, the solution is not in human wisdom or worldly methods—it is in the Word of God. The Bible says, “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:20-22, NKJV). This confirms that your life and healing depend on the Word of God.
Do not be among those who seek signs instead of seeking the Word. If healing is in the Word, then you must diligently seek it. Read the Bible, meditate on it, and ask God to reveal it to you.
Pray in faith, and God will grant you healing. No matter what sickness, sorrow, or difficulty you face—the solution is in God, through His Word.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your life-giving Word. Forgive my sins and have mercy on me. I repent and turn to Your Word for healing and deliverance. Send Your Word and give me revelation so that I may overcome every challenge I face. I acknowledge that my healing is in You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
