GOD ACCEPTED YOU BY HIS GRACE NOT YOUR WORKS
"For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6 NKJV"
Grace means the kindness or help that God gives you even though you do not deserve it. Anything good that comes from God to help you—not because of something you did, but because of His love and mercy—is called grace.
The salvation that we have is because of grace. The Bible says:
"For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For it is rare for someone to die for a good person. But maybe someone would die for a truly good person. But God showed His love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:6–8 NKJV"
After receiving this salvation, what you need to do is live by depending on God’s grace. If you don’t understand grace well, you will face many problems in your walk with God, because it will be hard for you to do and receive many things from Him.
Grace is there for your weakness. When you are weak, and you fail God, you need to remember that even at that moment, God still loves you and sees you as valuable. The problem many Christians have is that we think we deserve something because of our good works. But when we fail to do those things, we feel like we are not good enough for God.
God wants you to live a holy and righteous life that pleases Him. But you should know that no matter how hard you try, your works can never be perfect before God. That is why God removed the old covenant of the law and gave us grace—because no human can please God through the law.
So today, know that you always need grace, and God has already given it to you. Now receive it, and believe that you are accepted by God. That is the truth. God has accepted you by His grace, which we receive through Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me just as I am. I put my hope in Your grace and not in my own works. Amen.
