GOD KNOWS WHAT YOU’RE GOING THROUGH – PART 3 (God Has Prepared Good Things for You)

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 NKJV

When we talk about life’s hardships and challenges, it’s important to learn from the Bible and look at the lives of people who went through hardships and suffering but whose end was full of blessings. Today, we’ll look at the life of Joseph and what I want you to understand from his life is: “All things work together for good to those who love God”

Now consider Joseph’s life — it was rejection and hatred from his own brothers that took him out of his home environment. They sold him, and he ended up in Egypt; there, his master’s wife falsely accused him, and he was thrown into prison. But it was there in prison that his gift of interpreting dreams was recognized by people connected to Pharaoh’s palace. Eventually, he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and became the Prime Minister of Egypt. (Genesis 37, 39–41)

No doubt, during those painful moments, Joseph must have cried out to God and asked, “Why is my life full of hardship, rejection, and false accusations?” These are the same questions you may be asking God. Sometimes you might even say, “God, where are You? Don’t You see what I’m going through? Why don't you answer my prayers?”

But today’s message says: “All things work together for good to those who love God.” This means that if you love God and live a holy and righteous life, know that in all situations, God is doing something that will lead to your good.

We see in Genesis 50:20 that Joseph understood this and told his brothers — the very ones who hated him and wanted to kill him, and sold him into slavery, he told them this; “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”

So you, too, must have faith that in every situation you’re going through today, God is using it as a path to bring you to something good. It’s not that God isn’t hearing your prayers, or that you’re under generational curses. We can’t say Joseph was cursed or bound by some evil Spirit.

If you are saved and you love God, know that what you're going through today is just the road that leads to your blessings. Sometimes, what you are supposed to do is wait on God and believe him. In due time he will bless you.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I believe You are with me to bring good things into my life. Grant me wisdom and patience in all the trials I face. Amen.
