BELIEVING FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE – SUCH GREAT FAITH

In Luke 7:9, the Bible says, “When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, ‘I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!’”

This statement shows something powerful—Jesus was amazed by the faith of the Roman centurion. He was not amazed by the man’s position or wealth but by his faith. When Jesus said, “I have not found,” it meant He had been looking. This reveals an important truth: Jesus is looking for people who believe He can do the impossible.

He wants to see that kind of faith—faith that does not doubt, faith that says, “Just say the word and my servant will be healed.” Jesus delights when we trust Him with big, critical, even “impossible” problems. Your issues, your burdens, your sickness, your fears—they are not too much for Him.

If Jesus is still searching for faith today, I want you to know something important: Your prayers are not noise to Him. You are not disturbing Him when you bring your problems to Him in prayer. In fact, He is waiting for you to do just that.

Don’t be afraid to bring your impossible situation to Jesus. He honors faith. He is not limited by what limits man. What seems dead, broken, or finished—He can still turn it around. He’s not asking for perfect words. He’s asking for honest faith.

So today, come to Him. Surrender your impossible situation. Bring it all—your pain, your questions, your fears—and say, “Lord, I believe You can do what I cannot.” Just like the centurion, trust in the power of Jesus’ word. That kind of faith moves His heart.

He is still the same Jesus. He still heals. He still restores. He still works miracles. But He is looking for faith. Will He find it in you today?

Prayer: Jesus, I surrender my impossible problem to You. I believe You can do all things. Let it be done. Amen.
