GOD WILL BLESS THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS

“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.” — Psalm 90:17 (NKJV)

As we celebrate Worker's Day and enter the new month of May. This powerful verse reminds us that true success does not come by human strength alone but by the hand of God. When the beauty or favor of the Lord rests upon us, He establishes—He strengthens, prospers, and causes to grow—the work of our hands.

In Genesis 3:17-19, after Adam sinned, God declared a curse over the ground: "Cursed is the ground for your sake... thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you... In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread." This curse meant hard labor, struggle, and frustration. Many families have been trapped in this cycle—working hard but seeing little fruit.

But praise be to God! Through Jesus Christ, the curse has been broken. Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us…” Now, we are not under the curse anymore but under grace. Jesus paid the full price to restore us to the original blessing where God empowers the work of our hands to prosper.

You may come from a family where poverty, lack, and frustration have been common, but you are not bound by those curses anymore. You are in Christ. The old patterns are broken. God will bless you, and your labor will not be in vain. You and your children will enjoy the fruit of your work. You will not struggle and fail, but work and succeed.

God delights in blessing His children. As you commit your work to Him—whether in business, ministry, farming, school, or career—He will cause it to flourish. The blessings of Abraham are yours through Christ. You are no longer cursed—you are blessed, and everything you touch will be fruitful.

Prayer: Father, thank You for breaking every curse. Bless the work of my hands. Let success, peace, and abundance be my portion.
