JESUS IS TALKING TO YOU, HEAR HIS VOICE AND OBEY HIM

“See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven.” — Hebrews 12:25 (NKJV)

The book of Hebrews opens with a powerful revelation: "God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son..." (Hebrews 1:1-2). This sets the foundation for understanding that while God previously communicated through prophets and messengers, today He speaks directly through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 12:25 gives us a serious warning. It reminds us that those who ignored God’s voice when He spoke through His prophets did not escape judgment. Now, how much more serious is it if we ignore Jesus, who is speaking directly from heaven? His words are not suggestions—they are life, truth, and the path to eternity.

This message is clear: God is speaking to you today. Not just to pastors or prophets, but to you—His creation, His beloved. The fact that you don’t hear Him doesn’t mean He hasn’t spoken. And if you don’t understand Him, it doesn’t mean He didn’t speak. The real issue is often that we are too distracted or busy to pay attention.

God always speaks through His Word, His Spirit, and life’s circumstances. But we only hear Him occasionally, and that is not because He is silent. It is because we are not listening.

From today, make a decision to pay attention. Prioritize time in His Word. Take prayer seriously. Learn to meditate quietly on what God says in Scripture. When your heart becomes still before Him, His voice becomes clearer. Remember, God is not trying to hide from you—He desires deep fellowship with you. But it starts with your willingness to listen.

So today, let this be your choice: pay attention to His voice and obey Him.
