THE GOD WHO GIVES POWER TO HIS PEOPLE
“O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!” — Psalm 68:35 (NKJV)
This verse shows us a great truth—God is powerful, and He gives His power to His people. He is not just strong by Himself; He shares that strength with those who trust in Him. The Bible says, “He gives strength and power to His people,” which means He wants His children to walk in strength, not weakness.
Our God is not weak. He is the Creator of heaven and earth. He gives spiritual power to help us pray, preach, and overcome temptation. He also gives physical strength to serve Him and do our daily work. But He does even more—He gives wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. God gives intellectual power to build things, solve problems, run businesses, and bring solutions to the world.
Many people think they must depend only on their education, money, or experience. But as believers, we must remember that the true source of power is God. He gives power to become great, power to do things others cannot do. He gave Joseph the power to interpret dreams, Daniel the power to understand visions, and Bezalel the power to build with excellence (Exodus 31:2-3).
If you feel weak today—spiritually, mentally, or physically—ask God for His power. He is willing and ready to fill you with His strength. Do not walk in fear or doubt. Trust in the God who gives power to His people.
Prayer: Lord, give me power to live, serve, and do great things for Your glory. Amen.
