YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

Proverbs 21:13 says, “If you refuse to listen to the cry of the poor, your own cry for help will not be heard.”

This scripture teaches a powerful truth: the way you treat others will return to you. If you ignore people in need, one day you will also need help—and no one will listen. This is the law of sowing and reaping.

Even Jesus Himself confirmed this principle in Luke 6:38 and Matthew 7:12. He taught that if you want others to treat you well, you must do the same for them. Jesus said, “Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.” If you are kind, people will be kind to you. If you are honest, others will be honest with you. If you show mercy, you will also receive mercy.

This law works in every part of life. If you plant good seeds, you will receive a good harvest. But if you plant evil, you will receive trouble. What you say, what you do, and how you treat people—these are all seeds. If you sow love, you will harvest love. If you sow lies, you will harvest trouble. Life is like a field, and each day you are planting something. One day, your harvest will come.

So, make the right choice. Help others. Forgive. Speak kindly. Support those in need. One day, those seeds will return to you in ways you cannot imagine. What you give today becomes your tomorrow.

Prayer: Lord, help me sow good seeds so I may reap a life full of blessings and mercy.
