A MAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART

Acts 13:22 says, “And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’”

This verse shows something powerful: God is searching for people who care about what He cares about—people who are ready to do His will completely. When God said, “I have found,” it means He was looking. That tells us clearly: God is searching.

Many people are busy seeking God, but few understand that there is another level—when God is the one seeking you. David didn’t only find God, but God found him! Why? Because David’s heart matched God’s heart. He wanted what God wanted. He obeyed God.

Today, I want to advise you: Be someone God is searching for. Let your life be in line with His desires. Let Him look into the earth and say, “I have found you—a man or woman after My own heart.”

How can you become this kind of person? The answer is simple but strong:

● Make God’s agenda your agenda.

● Obey Him even when it’s hard.

● Sacrifice your selfish desires if they don’t please God.

● Be obedient, live a life that says “Yes, Lord” every day.

When your desires die and God’s will lives through you, then you are truly after God’s heart. God will raise you, bless you, honor you, and use you in a great way. There is no shortcut. It is the way of obedience, sacrifice, and full surrender.
