BE WISE, SPEAK LESS
Proverbs 17:27 NKJV says; He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.
Wise people know how to speak carefully, and people with understanding are calm and peaceful even when things go wrong. In our daily relationships—whether at home, in marriage, at work, or in business—this wisdom is very important.
In family life, it is easy to speak too quickly when we are upset. But the Bible teaches us to use our words wisely. When we control our tongue and stay calm, we create peace in the home. Children grow well in peaceful homes, and parents enjoy stronger bonds with each other.
In marriage, many problems start with careless words and anger. A wise husband or wife learns to listen more, speak less, and avoid shouting or harsh words. Peace in marriage is not automatic—it is built with patience, understanding, and the ability to control emotions.
In the workplace, a calm person brings solutions, not problems. People trust and respect those who are peaceful and do not speak too much or cause confusion. Many doors open for those who know how to maintain peace with co-workers, clients, and bosses.
In business, peace helps relationships grow stronger. Customers stay longer and partners trust more when you are calm and respectful. Even when you are right, being gentle can help you win more than raising your voice.
Peace in relationships is a treasure. It brings happiness, strength, and unity. You should pray for the wisdom to keep peace, speak wisely, and act calmly even during challenges.
Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom to speak with love and stay calm in every relationship I have.
