EXAMINE YOUR WAYS (YOU CAN'T ESCAPE GOD'S JUDGMENT)
Proverbs 19:5 (NKJV) says, “A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape.”
This verse clearly tells us that no matter how people try to hide their wrong actions or cover their evil ways with lies, God sees everything. Some people think they can sin and escape punishment. They live as if there is no God who judges, but that is a big mistake.
David once said in Psalm 139:7-8, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.” This shows us that God is everywhere. You cannot hide from Him, even if you go to the deepest pit.
God is a righteous Judge. He rewards good and punishes evil. Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”
This means your actions—good or bad—will bring results. You cannot plant bad seeds and expect good fruits.
An example is King Saul. He disobeyed God, thinking he could offer sacrifices his own way. But God rejected him as king (1 Samuel 15). Saul thought he could twist God's word and still be blessed, but he lost everything. His story warns us to fear God and obey Him.
Even though God punishes sin, His grace is still full and free. 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” So if you have done wrong, don’t hide—repent. God is merciful.
God also values every person. He does not allow the rich or powerful to oppress others without judgment. He sees everything and will act in His time. Trust Him to bring justice.
