EXAMINE YOUR WAYS

Lamentations 3:40 Says: “Let us search out and examine our ways, And turn back to the Lord.”?

Sometimes, life moves so fast that we forget to check if the things we do are pleasing to God. We are busy chasing money, chasing dreams, chasing relationships—and we forget to chase righteousness. Lamentations 3:40 tells us to pause and look carefully at our lives. “Let us search out and examine our ways, and turn back to the Lord.” This is a wake-up call for anyone who has been carried away by life.

Many people do not take time to think deeply about what they do or the effects of their actions. They don’t ask: Does this please God? Will this lead me to peace or destruction? Sadly, some only realize too late—when problems and pain come.

Calamities often come as a surprise to those who refuse to examine their lives. God is not punishing you for fun. He is warning you in love. He doesn’t want you to suffer or lose everything you’ve worked for. He wants you to come back to Him before it is too late.

Some people are so busy with work and success that they have forgotten God. But in Revelation, God says, “You have left your first love,” and again, “Remember where you have fallen, and repent.” God is not far. He is calling you now. Don’t wait until pain forces you to stop. Examine your ways and turn back to God today.
