EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT COMES FROM GOD
James 1:17 (NKJV) Says; “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
God is the Father of lights, the source of all true blessings. Unlike men who change, or the devil who deceives, God never changes. His nature is always good, and His gifts are pure, perfect, and without regret. If you see a blessing that brings peace, joy, and eternal life, know it is from God.
As we are wrapping up this week’s theme, “Moving towards perfection,” I want you to know this: God is the giver of good and perfect gifts. Whatever you need in life, you must go to God for it.
The devil also gives gifts, but they are not good and perfect. Revelation 13:2 (NKJV) says: “The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.” Satan can give people riches, fame, and power, but these are traps that lead to sorrow and destruction.
Today, many young people are impressed by those who deny God and still seem successful. But not believing in God is paganism, and paganism is a form of Satanism. If you reject God, you are automatically walking in Satan’s path.
We also see the rise of freemasonry, the Illuminati, and other secret societies. Some join because they see celebrities or businessmen with riches and power that came from the dragon. But behind the show, many of them suffer in secret. Some even sacrifice their children, parents, or spouses just for fame or wealth.
The Bible warns in Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV): “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”
So, do not sell your soul to the devil for money, fame, or power. Fear God, trust Him, and wait on His timing. Yes, life may be hard. People may mock you, despise you, or laugh at your struggles. But if you stay faithful, your day of honor will come. God’s blessings bring peace, joy, and eternal reward. His gifts do not cause regret or hidden pain—they are truly perfect.
Prayer: Lord, help me reject Satan’s lies and trust only in Your perfect gifts and blessings.
