OVERCOMING LIMITATIONS

1 Corinthians 13:10 (NKJV) says; “But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.”

Everything starts in part, small, or incomplete. Perfection is the final stage, but before it comes, we must walk through the process of growth. Paul uses this verse to explain that our current understanding and experiences are limited. They are not wrong, but they are temporary until the perfect fullness of God’s plan is revealed. This principle applies to life, business, ministry, family, and spiritual growth. God’s design is a journey from imperfection to perfection, from little to much, from weakness to strength.

It is okay to start small and imperfect, but you must grow. Every great journey begins with a first step. A child is born without knowledge, cannot sit, but later grows, walks, and even runs. The same is true for animals, plants, businesses, and careers—everything has a start point.

When you begin a business, you may start with small capital, make mistakes, even face losses, but over time you learn and grow. Eventually, you make profits. When you start a job, sometimes it begins with volunteering, then employment, and later promotion. Even building a house starts with a foundation before it becomes complete.

God’s principles follow this pattern. At creation, He began with just two of every animal. Today the earth has billions of creatures and people. But the danger is when you get stuck in the process—that is limitation. Your beginning is not your destiny.

Our God is a God of perfection. He said you will be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13 NKJV). Spiritually, you must also grow from one level to another. Stagnation is dangerous. Every day you must improve—today’s version of you should be better than yesterday’s.

Perfection is a process, not a one-day event. It comes by learning, practicing, and not being satisfied with where you are now. You must be thankful for what God has given you but still desire the better things He has prepared. Many Jews could not accept Jesus because they were stuck in the law and traditions. If you hold on to the old, you cannot receive the new.

Ask God today to open your eyes, break every limitation, and move you to a higher level spiritually, socially, and economically.

Prayer: Lord, help me break every limitation and grow into Your perfect plan for me.
