THE KNOWLEDGE THAT CASTS OUT FEAR


Hosea 4:6 (NKJV) says: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”


This verse teaches us that ignorance opens the door to destruction. When we don’t know God’s truth, we fall into traps of fear, weakness, and defeat. Knowledge of God is the key to freedom, boldness, and victory.


The knowledge of God’s power sets you free from fear. Many people fear because they don’t know how mighty God is. And because they don’t know Him, they do not turn to Him when problems come. But when you know God, His greatness, and His promises, fear cannot control you.


Fear grows and flourishes in ignorance. The devil takes advantage of what you don’t know to torture you. That’s why he fills the world with negative information, through social media, television, and daily news. Notice how bad news gets more attention than good news. During the COVID-19 season, fear killed more people than the virus itself. People panicked, worried, and gave up because they did not know the power of God to protect them.


Psalm 91:5–8 (NKJV) gives us assurance: “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.” This is knowledge that destroys fear.


Whatever evil you are afraid of is not your portion. Even if you see it happening to people around you, remember you are different because you have God. His knowledge gives you power, courage, and peace.


Prayer: Lord, fill me with knowledge of Your power so fear can never rule me.

THE WISEST THING TO DO IN YOUR LIFE

And those who have taught many people to do what is right will shine like the stars forever.” This verse speaks about the reward God will give His faithful people on the last day. MISPLACED FEAR

Matthew 10:28  (NKJV) says: “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”   This is a direct call from Jesus to correct our fears. Many people fear human threats, sickness, poverty, storms, or death. Yet Jesus reminds us that these things can only touch the body. The true danger is sin, because it separates us from God and leads to eternal destruction. The only fear that matters is the fear of God, for He alone holds the destiny of both the body and soul. One day I was in a garage fixing my car.
