BREAK DOWN YOUR DREAM INTO SMALL EXECUTABLE TASKS
Matthew 25:21 (NKJV) says: “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’”
This scripture teaches a great principle about success and faithfulness. God rewards those who are faithful in small things. Before you can handle great things, you must prove yourself trustworthy with the little ones. Many people fail to reach their dreams because they ignore small beginnings. They want big results without following the process.
One of the biggest obstacles to success is impatience. Many want to achieve big dreams in a short time. They want ready-made success without hard work or process. But every great thing in life starts small. Even God followed this principle. In Genesis chapter one, when He created the world, He didn’t do it in one day. He broke His vision into daily executable tasks. Each day, He created something new, and in seven days His vision was complete. God also started small—He created only a pair of each animal, and today we have millions of them.
It is good to have a big dream, but you must have a plan to reach it. Break your dream into small, clear, and executable steps. Some goals are too big to achieve all at once, but if you remain consistent, you will surely reach them.
For example, if you want to build a house, don’t wait to get all the money at once. Start by saving or buying a few materials. You can buy 200 blocks today, 50 bags of cement next month, and soon your house will stand. The same applies to writing a book—you can write five pages every day, and in a short time, you will finish it.
If you are faithful and consistent in small things, God will bless you with bigger things. Never compare yourself with those who seem ahead; they also started small. Lack of humility to start small is one of the biggest reasons many dreams die. If you want to reach far, agree to start small, and God will help you grow.
Prayer: Lord, help me to start small, stay consistent, and be faithful until I see my dreams fulfilled. Amen.
