GATE WAYS OF SATANIC COVENANTS – THE WAY OF BALAAM
2 Peter 2:15 GNT says, “They have left the straight path and have lost their way; they have followed the path taken by Balaam son of Beor, who loved the money he would get for doing wrong.”
This scripture clearly shows how greed for money can lead someone away from God’s path. Balaam was a prophet who knew the truth, but his heart was captured by the promise of wealth. King Balak wanted him to curse the Israelites and promised him great riches. When Balaam prayed, God told him not to go, yet when more wealth was offered, Balaam’s heart was tempted. He went back to God asking again, “Are you sure I shouldn’t go?” God saw his greed and allowed him to go, but only to speak what He commanded. Balaam went, made sacrifices, but instead of cursing Israel, blessings came out of his mouth.
Balak was angry and disappointed. Later, Balaam found another evil way to harm God’s people through false teachings and immorality. Because of money, his heart was darkened and turned against God. In Joshua 13:22, he is called a witch. What Balaam did in Numbers 23 was witchcraft. He used sacrifices and rituals to try to control spiritual outcomes for personal gain.
Today, the same thing is happening. Many people fall into satanic covenants because of money. A person visits a witchdoctor for business success, and they are told to do strange rituals — walking naked at midnight, bathing outside, or offering sacrifices. When they obey, they open spiritual doors for demons. One woman said her husband did these things, and soon he began seeing strange dreams and things appearing in their house at night, their child died, and the whole family suffered.
This is the danger of Evil money. The love of money can push people into sin, witchcraft, or blood covenants. Some steal, kill, or destroy others to get rich. But that money carries curses, not blessings. Anyone who tells you to do evil for money is an agent of Satan.
Turn away from the path of Balaam. Seek God, work hard, and earn your money in a righteous way. God will bless the work of your hands.
Prayer: Lord, keep me from the path of Balaam and help me walk in financial holiness always.
