YOU MUST BE SURE AND CONFIDENT OF WHO GOD MADE YOU TO BE
Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV) says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
God knew you long before your birth. You are not a mistake or accident. God shaped your personality, gifts, and purpose even before you entered this world. He designed you with intention and called you for a specific purpose. This truth means your value and assignment are not defined by people, situations, or your background, but by God who made you.
If you are not confident of who you are, you will be crushed by the forces of opposition and negativity that will come when you start walking in your calling. The journey to fulfilling your dreams will not always be easy. It will test your faith and courage. Self-knowledge is the power that will give you the strength to continue even when things become hard. To achieve your dreams, you must know yourself and who God made you to be.
When God called Jeremiah, he was doubtful and afraid. God reminded him that He had already known, sanctified, and ordained him before birth. Still, Jeremiah said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” (Jeremiah 1:6). But God replied, “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 1:7–8).
Perhaps you also have excuses, like Jeremiah, who saw himself as a young boy who couldn't do anything and people wouldn't give attention to what he said. Maybe you also think your weakness, background, gender, or education will stop you from reaching your dreams. But remember, God does not make mistakes. Your condition cannot cancel your calling. You are designed with divine ability to fulfill your destiny.
God has ordained you to be someone great. If you struggle with identity, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal who God created you to be. You are His masterpiece, created for honor and glory. You can do what He placed in your heart because He is with you.
Prayer: Lord, help me to be confident in who You made me to be and fulfill my divine purpose.
