BEHOLD, I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW

Revelation 21:5 NKJV says, “Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful.’”

This powerful declaration comes from the very mouth of God, the One seated on the throne, the One who holds all authority in heaven and on earth. When God says, “Behold,” He calls us to stop, to pay attention, and to open our hearts to His divine work. He wants us to understand clearly that renewal does not come from human effort or emotional strength. Renewal comes from Him alone. When He says, “I make all things new,” He is not speaking of partial change. He is speaking of complete transformation. He brings new seasons, new strength, new identity, and new destiny. And to remove every doubt, He adds, “These words are true and faithful.” His promise stands firm, unshaken, and unchangeable.

It is not up to you how things will change in your life. If you choose to have a fresh start, it is God who will make all things new for you. You are not the source of this change. God Himself is the One who brings new beginnings. Even if people try to bring back your past, they are not fighting you. They are fighting the God who has already spoken over your life. When God decides to make you new, no one can reverse it.

If there is any resistance on your journey, it is not a battle against your strength. They are resisting God, not you, because He is the One doing the work. The battle belongs to God, not you. Your responsibility is not to fight, argue, or defend your past. Your part is to surrender to Him completely and let Him lead you into the new thing He has already planned for you. And remember, the reason you can rest is because He said, “These words are true and faithful.” You can trust Him without fear.

Prayer: Lord, make all things new in my life and let Your truth guide my steps.
