BOLDNESS IN THE GRACE OF GOD
Hebrews 4:16 NKJV says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
God is inviting us to come before Him with confidence, not with fear or shame. The “throne of grace” represents God’s presence, where His mercy and help are always available. To come “boldly” means to approach Him without hesitation, knowing that we are loved and accepted through Jesus Christ. God’s throne is not a place of punishment, but a place of forgiveness, restoration, and grace. Whenever we face challenges, weakness, or guilt, this verse reminds us that help is found only in His presence. You have to understand the meaning of grace. It simply means the undeserved favor and kindness of God. Grace is not something we earn by doing good; it is a free gift given to us because of His love. You may feel that you don’t deserve the goodness of God or His help because of your mistakes or the wrongs you have done. But that’s exactly why you need grace. God’s grace is for the undeserving. If you believe and accept the grace of God, then you don’t need to feel unworthy or reject yourself before Him. Don’t condemn yourself. Accept the grace of God. It is not your past or your weakness that defines you before God; it is His grace. Don’t allow your mistakes to make you run away from God. The Word of God today says, “Come boldly to the throne of grace.” Many Christians find it hard to come before God when they have done wrong because their conscience judges them. But if you have the same experience today, remember that the Word of God says, “Come boldly to the throne of grace.” I want to advise you today, don’t run away from God when you make mistakes or when you are in trouble. Run towards Him and receive His grace and mercy. God will not judge or reject you. When you come to Him in your time of need He will not ask you where were you all this time? He is not a human being to ask you that kind of question. He is a loving Father, ready to receive you and help you. Come to Him today. He is waiting for you. Prayer: Lord, help me to come boldly to Your throne, to receive Your mercy, grace, and love every day.
