GRACE FOR A FRESH START
I Peter 5:10 (NKJV) “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.”
In this verse we see the powerful nature of God’s grace. Peter calls Him “the God of all grace” because His grace reaches every area of life. It is not limited by your past, mistakes, or pain. God allows seasons of suffering to shape and prepare us for something greater. After you have endured for a while, His grace begins to work in you to perfect what is missing, to establish your faith, to strengthen your heart, and to settle your life on a solid foundation. Grace is not only for salvation but also for restoration. It is the divine power that lifts a broken person and gives them a new beginning.
No matter what you have gone through whether it was caused by your own mistakes or the natural challenges of life, there is always grace for a fresh start. God’s love is bigger than your failure. His mercy is stronger than your shame. You may have fallen, but by His grace, you can rise again.
Do not give up on yourself. You can start again and become a different, better person than what others think of you, or even how you see yourself. Grace gives you a second chance to rebuild your life with purpose and dignity.
If there is someone in your life who is lost in sin or trapped in the pleasures of this world, do not give up on them either. God’s grace can reach them wherever they are and give them the power to begin again.
Maybe it is your marriage, your relationship, or your dreams that have been broken. Even there, God has already provided the grace to begin again. After you have suffered a while, may God perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your grace that restores, strengthens, and gives me power to begin again. Amen.
