TRUSTING GOD HE WILL HELP YOU MAKE RIGHT DECISIONS

Proverbs 3:5–6 NKJV says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Trusting God is a powerful foundation for decision-making. It shows that the safest, surest, and most successful way to make decisions is not by depending on human wisdom, emotions, or personal logic, but by putting full trust in God.

Trusting God with all your heart means surrendering your ideas, fears, and personal desires to Him. It means believing that His wisdom is higher than yours and that His plan for your life is always good. When you choose not to lean on your own understanding, you are choosing to depend on God’s unlimited knowledge instead of your limited human reasoning.

When it says; “Acknowledge Him in all your ways” means you involve God in everything, your plans, your choices, your desires, your relationships, and your future. And when you do that, the promise is sure: He shall direct your paths. God Himself becomes your guide. He leads you into the right decisions and protects you from wrong ones.

You make right decisions by trusting God, not your own understanding. Human reasoning can only see the surface, but God sees the beginning, middle, and end of every situation. When you trust Him, He helps you avoid mistakes that your natural mind cannot detect.

If you consult God, He will guide you. If you trust your own reasoning alone, you risk missing His direction. Many people suffer because they made decisions based on feelings, pressure, or advice from others instead of seeking God. But when you take time to pray, listen, and wait for His voice, He will show you the right way.

The Bible says the carnal mind is enmity against God. When you follow it, it leads you to chase the desires of the flesh. And following the flesh leads to death, destruction, and regret. But the spiritual mind brings life and peace.

This does not mean you cannot use your mind. God gave you a mind to think, plan, and reason. But it means you commit your mind to God and let Him influence your decisions through the Holy Spirit and His Word.

Prayer: Lord, help me trust You fully and guide every decision I make so I may walk in Your perfect will.
