YOUR DECISIONS DETERMINES YOUR DESTINY

Proverbs 14:12 NKJV says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.”

This scripture shows the danger of trusting human judgment without God’s guidance. A decision can look good, feel right, sound wise, and even attract the approval of many people, yet still lead to destruction. Human understanding is limited. We see only what is in front of us, but God sees the beginning, the middle, and the end.

Many people choose paths based on excitement, emotions, and personal desires, but those choices often hide consequences that only appear later. When the Bible says “its end is the way of death,” it means that decisions made without God can destroy peace, destiny, relationships, and purpose. God warns us so that we do not walk into traps that look harmless.

Not everything that looks good is truly good. Your feelings can mislead you because feelings change. Your opinions can mislead you because they are shaped by limited experience. Other people’s pressure can mislead you because they do not know God’s plan for your life. Something can look easy, beautiful, or profitable and still be the wrong way.

This is why God’s Word is the safest guide. His Word gives wisdom that protects your destiny. Sometimes God leads you in a direction that does not feel comfortable. Sometimes His instruction challenges your comfort zone, your habits, or your desires. But His path is always the path of life. The Holy Spirit leads you into truth, not into confusion.

Your destiny is shaped by the decisions you make every day. The decision to pray, to obey, to forgive, to walk in purity, to stay humble, to trust God, and to follow His Word will always lead to life and peace. When you choose God’s way, you choose greatness. When you follow your own feelings without seeking God, you risk losing what He wants to give you.

Destiny is not an accident. Destiny is the result of continuous wise choices made under God’s direction. Let your decisions be guided by scripture, not by emotion. Let your steps be ordered by the Lord, not by pressure from people. God will never mislead you. His Word is the lamp that shows you the right path.

Prayer: Lord, guide my decisions and keep my heart on the path that leads to life.
