OPPRESSION IS THE WORK OF THE DEVIL

Acts 10:38 NKJV says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

Oppression is not from God. It comes from the devil. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and divine power to confront, break, and destroy every form of oppression. Everywhere He went, He brought freedom, healing, light, and deliverance. He did good and released people from every demonic attack, emotional torture, and physical bondage. God anointing him shows that God is deeply concerned about anyone suffering in any way. He takes oppression seriously and provides a solution through Jesus Christ.

God did not create you to be dominated. He created you to rule and have authority over all His creation. In the beginning, humanity held full dominion, but sin entered and gave the devil a legal right to oppress and torture human beings. Sin made us lose our authority and our position of dominion. The result is that many people today live under different kinds of oppression and fear.

The devil uses many tools to oppress people. He uses diseases, addictions, fears, emotional wounds, poverty, confusion, and evil spirits. He also uses people. Some are oppressed in relationships and marriages and think their husband or wife is the main problem. Yes, they may be acting wrongly, but behind them there is a demonic force pushing the conflict, pain, and brokenness. Even your boss may oppress you, but many times he is being influenced by the enemy.

The good news is that Jesus was specially anointed by God to set you free. God sees your pain. He understands your tears. That is why He sent Jesus to deliver you from every form of oppression. What you must know is that oppression is the work of the devil, not God. Some people justify their suffering, thinking God wants them to stay in pain. But God is not the author of oppression. He wants you free.

You must see your suffering as a work of the enemy and begin to resist him. Pray, stand in faith, and ask Jesus to deliver you. Jesus is still setting people free today the same way He did in the Bible days. He has sent this message to you so you can rise, believe, and receive your freedom in Him.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, set me free from every oppression of the enemy today. Amen.
