GOD’S PLAN MUST COME TO PASS
Isaiah 14:24 NIV says, “The Lord Almighty has sworn, ‘Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen.’”
This verse reveals the authority and certainty of God’s plans. God does not speak with doubt or hesitation. He swears by Himself because there is no higher power. What He plans is not an idea that may fail. What He purposes is not a wish. It is a settled decision that must come to pass. When God plans, events align, time responds, and nothing can stop it.
God has a plan, and it is important for you to know it and be part of it. Many people fail in life because they insist on following their own plans. Human plans are limited by knowledge, fear, pride, and impatience. That is why many plans do not give people what they truly want.
When plans are made without God, they often lead to stress, delay, and disappointment. If you are walking in your own plan and it is not working, this is the right time to return to God, the Master Planner, and ask Him to show you His plan so that you follow it.
If you read Isaiah 14:24 carefully, God says, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be.” Notice the word “I.” God does not say, “as you have planned.” He says, “as I have planned.” It is His plan, not yours. He also says, “as I have purposed.” This means what God has planned and purposed is what will surely happen. Nothing can cancel it.
Now, how about you? You need to know that God is mindful of you. He thinks about you all the time. Your life is not an accident. God has already planned and purposed good things for you. He has a plan for this year. He has a plan for your marriage, your career, and your future. He also has a purpose for the dreams and goals in your heart.
What you need to do is to lay down your own plans and humbly ask God for His plan has for you. God sees what you cannot see. He knows what you do not know. His plan is sure, and He will execute it Himself. When you walk in God’s plan, you will never fail.
Prayer: Father, I surrender my plans to You and choose to walk in Your perfect plan and purpose. Amen
