THE YEAR OF PLENTY

 Leviticus 25:21 NKJV says, “Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it will bring forth produce enough for three years.”



This verse reveals the nature of God as a God who plans ahead for His people. He does not bless without purpose. In the law of the Sabbath year, God promised that the sixth year would carry a special command of blessing. That blessing was not just for the present moment but also for the future. The harvest of the sixth year was meant to sustain the people during the seventh year, a year of rest when no work was done. This shows us that God provides abundance before rest, and supply before demand.

As I spoke to you yesterday about the year 2026, I said it is the year of new foundations. It is a season God has given you to establish your life in a new way. New foundations require vision, courage, and resources. God never asks His people to build without first making provision. That is why Leviticus 25:21 is very important for this season.

This verse speaks about the sixth year, which is a year of preparation for the seventh year, the year of rest. God knew that rest would only be possible if there was enough supply. That is why He commanded His blessing upon the sixth year so that it would produce more than enough. The excess was not waste. It was divine wisdom. The overflow was meant to carry the people through a season where they would not work.

In the same way, the sixth year is blessed, and so is the year 2026. It is the year of plenty. God is blessing this year so you can produce more than what you need right now. This is because He is preparing you for seasons ahead. As we talk about making new foundations, we must understand that nothing can be built without enough supplies and resources.

What God is saying to you is that in this year of plenty, He will bless you so much that you will be able to establish and start what He has placed in your heart. It may be spiritual, physical, or economical. The blessing is not only to enjoy but to build.

Your responsibility is to ask God for wisdom and knowledge to properly use the blessings He will give you. Remove fear and doubt from your heart. If you gave up on yourself or your dreams, this is the time to believe again. This year is a window for everyone. God desires that you enter into rest. If you have suffered financially for many years, believe that God is ending your sufferings this year. He has poured out His blessing for you. Receive it, work on it, and build wisely.

Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom to use Your abundance well and build strong foundations this year.

WISDOM TO MAKE RIGHT DECISIONS

  James 1:5 NKJV says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”   God is the true source of wisdom.
