The God Who Hears Prayer

O You who hear prayer, to You all flesh will come.” (Psalm 65:2, NKJV)

There is a powerful truth in this verse: God hears. He is not distant, nor indifferent to the cry of humanity. He is the living God who bends His ear toward those who call on Him with sincerity. In a world full of noise and distractions, there is a voice that reaches straight to heaven: the voice of a heart that prays.
The psalmist does not say that God hears only a few, but opens a universal door: “to You all flesh will come.” This reveals God’s desire to draw every person to Himself. No matter the past, no matter the condition—whoever comes to Him will find a God ready to listen. Prayer is not an empty ritual, but a real encounter with the One who has the power to transform every situation.
When you pray, you are not speaking into the void. Every word—even those whispered in pain—is gathered by God. Even when it seems like the heavens are silent, He is still working. God’s silence is not absence; often, it is preparation.
This truth changes everything: you are not alone. There is a God who hears you, who knows your needs even before you speak them, and who answers according to His perfect will. Prayer becomes not just a request, but deep communion, a refuge, a source of strength.
Draw near to God in faith. Open your heart without reservation. For the God who hears prayer is the same God who answers with love, power, and faithfulness.
