KNOW YOUR PURPOSE 3 (Don't compete or Compare yourself with anyone)

God created you uniquely. Once you know who you are and understand the purpose of your creation, and you value the work God created you to do and perform it diligently, what you need to do is wait for God to elevate and bless you.

Paul told the Corinthians, "I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 1 Corinthians 3:6." In life, you will do something and then have to wait for God to grow it. You must not interfere with God's process of increasing it; you will wait only.

Some people feel delayed in life and success because they compare themselves to others. Due to pressure from the environment and close people, you might doubt the purpose for which God called you. When you see yourself delayed in achieving the goals and promises God has given you, or you become discouraged and use improper means to seek success.

Everyone has their own purpose, blessing, and time, so we can not be the same. Do not compare or compete with anyone. The word of God says, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Ecclesiastes 3:1." Your time for success will come.

Our message for today also says, "Wealth and honour come from you... in your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. 1 Chronicles 29:12." our main focus is on where it says "In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all."

God does not discriminate; He empowers everyone. In Psalms 75:6-7, it says, "But it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another." This does not mean God is biased or partial. 1 Peter 5:5 says, "God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble."

So, when you want to succeed in the purpose God called you for, you must learn from His word and follow what it says. His word says, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

Prayer: Lord, I ask you to grant me your humility and patience, remove competition and pride from me, and enable me to overcome all temptations so I can fulfil your purpose. Amen.
