Decide to Believe
"Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"
—John 11:40Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, leaving you at the point of despair. Whether it’s emotional pain, physical struggles, or waiting too long for God’s intervention, the weight can seem unbearable. In moments like these, it’s easy to cry out, “Lord, I can’t do this anymore!”
But take heart—these seasons of difficulty are not without purpose. They are opportunities for God to stretch your faith and reveal His glory. Just as Jesus comforted Martha in John 11:40, He is inviting you to trust Him today.
Belief is not about denying the pain or pretending everything is fine. It’s about shifting your focus to what God can do. Faith is a decision—a choice to trust in God’s power, even when your circumstances seem impossible.
When you choose to believe, you open the door for God to work. He may not change your situation immediately, but He will give you peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). He will strengthen you to take the next step and sustain you through each moment.
The truth is, God has a perfect track record. He has never failed, and He won’t start now. If you look back, you’ll likely see how He has guided, provided for, and comforted you in the past. Trust that He will do it again.
No matter how hard life gets, place your hope in Jesus. He has promised never to leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). When you choose to trust Him, even in the darkest moments, you will see His glory in ways you never imagined.
Prayer:Jesus, help me see You clearly in my struggles. Teach me to love and trust You deeply, even when I feel like I can’t go on. Strengthen my faith and fill me with Your peace. I choose to believe that You are working all things for my good and Your glory. Amen."
