WRITE DOWN YOUR VISION AND MAKE IT PLAIN
Habakkuk 2:2–3 (NKJV) says; “Then the Lord answered me and said: ‘Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.’”
"Many of you have Visions and plans, but you haven't written them down. Today, write it down, go buy a diary and make sure you write it down. You will come to testify here how things changed"
Habakkuk was a prophet wrestling with doubt and confusion. He sought answers from God in the midst of chaos, and in reply, God gave him a powerful principle, "write the vision down". This was not just a call to document divine revelation, but to make it clear, visible, and actionable. The Lord assured Him that His timing is perfect, even if it appears delayed. Vision is faith’s language written on paper. When we write what God reveals, we anchor our dreams in His promises.
Every great move of God begins with a vision. Before Noah built the ark, before Joseph ruled Egypt, before Nehemiah rebuilt the walls, God gave each of them a vision. The difference between drifting and destiny is clarity. Habakkuk 2:2–3 teaches us that divine vision must not remain abstract; it must be written, structured, and made plain.
Writing a vision transforms spiritual revelation into physical reality. It’s an act of faith that says, “Lord, I believe what You showed me will come to pass.” When you write your goals and dreams under God’s guidance, you create a map that keeps you focused when distractions arise.
But God adds another truth: the vision has its appointed time. Patience becomes a partner of purpose. Many abandon divine instructions too soon because the promise seems delayed. Yet, every God-given vision matures in His timing, not ours. Faith is what bridges the waiting period and the fulfillment of God’s promises.
Your written vision should reflect divine purpose, not personal ambitions. Spend time in prayer and studying scriptures, allowing God to purify your motives. When your goals align with His heart, doors open naturally, and provision flows supernaturally.
Don’t rush what God is refining. The vision will speak when it’s ready, loudly and clearly. Until then, keep writing, believing, and preparing. Divine vision may tarry, but it never dies.
Prayer: Lord, help me write Your vision clearly and wait faithfully for Your appointed time.
