*A Child Is Born to Us, a Son Is Given to Us (Isaiah 9:6)*
“ _A child is born to us, a son is given to us.”_
In these prophetic words there is more than the announcement of a birth—there is the revelation of an eternal gift. A child is born to us: God enters human frailty, draws near, allows Himself to be touched, cries, and grows. A son is given to us: not something we earned or deserved, but pure grace—love coming down from heaven. π
The child speaks to our wounded hearts: God knows our tears, our silent nights, our deepest loneliness. The Son speaks to our spirit: He is the divine Authority who brings redemption, freedom, and reconciliation with the Father. In Jesus, tenderness and power, humility and glory, dwell together. π
“Is given to us” means that God did not withhold what was most precious to Him. He gave His Son so that we might receive life, hope, and a future. This gift is not tied to a date on the calendar: every day the Holy Spirit presents Him to us anew—alive and present—ready to be born again in hearts that are open. ❤️π₯
If today you feel small, remember: God chooses smallness to reveal His greatness. If you feel empty, remember: the Son was given precisely to fill what is lacking. Receive Him again, let Him reign in your life, for the government is upon His shoulders, and the peace of His kingdom will never end. π️
A child is born to us.
A Son is given to us.
And in Him, every day, we can be born again. ✨
