For God to defend you, first make sure your ways are right so you don't give the enemy a chance. When you have faults and sins, that already becomes an open door for your enemy to succeed against you in the battle you're fighting. Secondly, have a strong faith that you are precious in God's sight and that God is on your side to save you. Our God is a God who comes to defend you when the enemy wants to destroy you.
