GOD’S STRENGTH IN DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES

“Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.” — Psalm 46:2 (NKJV) This verse paints a powerful picture of unshakable faith. Even if the very foundations of the earth fall apart, we are called not to fear. This is not blind courage, but trust rooted in the presence and strength of God. Psalm 46 reminds us that God's help is not far—it is “a very present help in trouble.” As believers, we must learn to stand strong no matter what we face. Our circumstances should never shake our faith or make us doubt God’s power. Hard times do not mean God has left us. Instead, those are the very moments when His strength is revealed most clearly. In our weakness, He shows His power. Sometimes, we get discouraged when we see others go through hardship. We start to compare our situations and question, “Will the same happen to me?” But the truth is, your faith in God sets you apart. You are not like everyone else. What ...

YOU MUST OVERCOME FEAR

The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV), "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."   This verse reminds us that fear does not come from God. Fear is a tool the enemy uses to stop you from stepping into the life God has designed for you. But God has given you power, love, and a sound mind to overcome fear and fulfill your purpose. You were not created to fail. You were created to win, to succeed, and to make an impact. God made you a conqueror through Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit, who lives in you, is your helper. He strengthens you when you feel weak and gives you the ability to move forward when you feel stuck. You must have faith in what God has made you and what He has given you—a strong spirit. Inside you, there is strength beyond what you can see. The challenge you are facing today is not bigger than you. You have the capacity, the wisdom, and the ability to overcome every obstacle. Nothing is too hard for you because Go...

GOD'S FAITHFULNESS IN EVERY BATTLE

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6" Life often leads us into places filled with uncertainty, opposition, and overwhelming challenges. Like the Israelites standing on the edge of the Promised Land, we sometimes face "giants" that seem too big to conquer. Yet in these moments, God calls us to remember one powerful truth: He is faithful to fulfill His promises, even when circumstances seem impossible. In Deuteronomy 31:6, Moses speaks to a new generation of Israelites about to enter Canaan without him. His message is simple yet profound: “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” This is not merely encouragement; it is a guarantee rooted in the character of God. The promise of the land was not based on Israel’s streng...

GOOD NEWS: GOD DOES NOT SEE YOU AS HIS ENEMY

"But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ." Ephesians 2:13 (NKJV) I have good news for you today; Our God is a God who is full of mercy and love for His people and for you. But in the Old Covenant, we were separated from God because of our sins and wrongdoings. Because of sin, there was enmity between us and God. Isaiah 59:1–2 says: "Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you So that He will not hear." Then, in verse 3, He explains the reason: "For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity." But because our God is full of love, and He wants you to be close to Him—and He wants to be close to you—He sent Jesus to make peace between us and Him through His death...

DO NOT SEEK REVENGE: HUMILITY BEFORE GOD IS WHAT WILL GIVE YOU VICTORY

"Do not say, “I’ll pay you back for this wrong!” Wait for the Lord, and he will avenge you." Proverbs 20:22 NIV God has said many times in His Word that we should not repay evil for evil, and we should not take revenge. In today's verse, He tells us: "Do not say, “I’ll pay you back for this wrong!”" But in real life, we still see people taking revenge, and maybe you too, in one way or another, have paid back evil with evil. So why do you find it hard to let go and forgive when you are wronged? It is because you lack humility. Humility means seeing yourself as small and not more important than others. It means being willing to be under authority and obey instructions. When you lack humility, you think you can do everything by yourself, even the things that God has told you not to do. (You take matters into your own hands.) You become a person who does not accept defeat. So when someone wrongs you, you feel the need to fight back because you cannot accept losing...

GOD'S GRACE IN YOUR WEAKNESS

"And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." – 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) When we speak of grace in the New Testament, it is a somewhat challenging topic, especially when addressing issues of sin and righteousness. Grace does not mean a license to sin. Grace is the power to overcome and erase sin. Now, just because God has given us this favor (grace) to be forgiven whenever we fall, it does not mean we should live in sin. Romans 6:1-2 says: "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?" Hebrews 10:26 -27 says: "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will dev...

GOD ACCEPTED YOU BY HIS GRACE NOT YOUR WORKS

"For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6 NKJV" Grace means the kindness or help that God gives you even though you do not deserve it. Anything good that comes from God to help you—not because of something you did, but because of His love and mercy—is called grace. The salvation that we have is because of grace. The Bible says: "For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For it is rare for someone to die for a good person. But maybe someone would die for a truly good person. But God showed His love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:6–8 NKJV" After receiving this salvation, what you need to do is live by depending on God’s grace. If you don’t understand grace well, you will face many problems in your walk with God, because it will be hard for you to do and receive many things from Him. Grace is there for your weakness. When you are w...

JESUS CHRIST, OUR HIGH PRIEST

"Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV)" After the resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven. He went into the Holy of Holies in heaven as a High Priest with his own blood to obtain the salvation of the whole world. And he is forever sited in Heaven as our High Priest always praying for us. One of the things that should give you courage is knowing that Jesus Christ is your High Priest. This is good news because this High Priest, who is now in heaven, lived a life like yours. He was tempted and tested by the devil, just like you. So, He fully understands what you are going through. The Bible says: "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4...

THE TRANSFORMING POWER OF THE CROSS OF JESUS

"Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him." Romans 6:8 NIV   As you continue to reflect and remember the death of our Savior, the Word of God reminds you that when Jesus died on the cross, He took all your sins and every burden that was heavy on your life. As Christians, we strongly believe that we were crucified with Jesus by faith. To be crucified with Him means that Jesus carried all our weaknesses and went with them to the cross so He could judge them. When He died, we also died with Him by faith. And when He rose again, we also rose with Him by faith as new people. In the book of Romans 6:5–13, the Word of God says: "Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we sh...

JESUS YOU GAVE YOUR LIFE FOR ME

I was lost. Not just confused, not just tired—I was completely lost. Like a sheep wandering far from home. I didn’t know where I was going. I just knew something inside me was broken… and I couldn’t fix it. But then I heard a voice. It wasn’t loud, but it was real. It called my name—not with anger, but with love. I didn’t even know I was worth saving, but He came anyway. He is the Good Shepherd. He didn’t run from me; He ran toward me. He saw the wolves coming—the sin, the guilt, the pain I carried— And still, He chose to step in front of it all… to protect me. He didn’t just risk His life— He gave it. He let them beat Him. He let them mock Him. He let them hang Him on a cross, So I could live. I still don’t understand it all. But I know this: He didn’t deserve the cross—I did. Yet He took it, for me. That day on the cross, He wasn’t just dying for the world in general— He was dying for me. He saw my name, my face, my mess— And He said, “I love you enough to die for you.” For God...
