YOU MUST BE TEACHABLE AND CORRECTABLE

Proverbs 12:1 (NKJV) Says; “Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.” The Bible makes it clear that loving instruction and correction is a mark of wisdom. If you want knowledge, you must accept guidance and be willing to be corrected. To hate correction is to remain foolish and unwise. Why? Because no one is perfect, and no one knows everything. Growth comes when you are willing to listen, learn, and adjust your ways. A person who rejects correction blocks the path of wisdom and locks the doors of progress. Learning and correction are parts of the process of growing into perfection. You don’t know everything, and that means you will make mistakes. But mistakes don’t make you a bad person, they make you human. The word “human being” itself shows we are in the process of becoming. We are not yet complete or perfect. If you want to excel, grow, and become better than who you are now, you must be teachable and willing to accept correction. M...

CONSISTENCY – KEY TO PERFECTION

Proverbs 22:29  (AMP): Says “Do you see a man skillful and experienced in his work? He will stand [in honor] before kings; He will not stand before obscure men.”   Skills and excellence are never hidden. A person who works hard, grows in their skill, and continues with discipline will one day be recognized. The pathway to standing before kings does not happen by chance. It comes through patience, discipline, and above all — consistency. The word “experienced” points to practice over time. No one becomes experienced overnight; it requires showing up every day, learning, failing, improving, and never giving up. Consistency is the secret ingredient that takes raw talent and turns it into extraordinary skill. You cannot be skillful and experienced in your career, business, or ministry if you are not consistent. The problem with this generation is that many want ready-made success. They want to skip the process of growth and learning. The moment challenges arise or when quic...

THE WAY UP IS DOWN

1 Peter 5:6 (NKJV) says; "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time." The secret of rising in life is Humility. The Bible tells us to humble ourselves before the mighty hand of God. Humility means lowering ourselves, admitting our weakness, and depending on God fully. When we do this, God Himself takes the responsibility of lifting us. Notice the words “in due time”.  It means that God has His own timing. Sometimes we may want to rise quickly, but God knows the right time for our promotion. Humility is not weakness but trust in God’s process. If you want God to transform you and increase you, if you want to break every curse and limitation in your life, your family, or even your nation, you must be humble. God Himself takes responsibility for lifting the humble. You cannot change yourself, you cannot lift yourself up. We are learning about moving towards perfection. Growth is a process and maturity is a process. If you want ...

OVERCOMING LIMITATIONS

1 Corinthians 13:10  (NKJV) says; “But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” Everything starts in part, small, or incomplete. Perfection is the final stage, but before it comes, we must walk through the process of growth. Paul uses this verse to explain that our current understanding and experiences are limited. They are not wrong, but they are temporary until the perfect fullness of God’s plan is revealed. This principle applies to life, business, ministry, family, and spiritual growth. God’s design is a journey from imperfection to perfection, from little to much, from weakness to strength. It is okay to start small and imperfect, but you must grow. Every great journey begins with a first step. A child is born without knowledge, cannot sit, but later grows, walks, and even runs. The same is true for animals, plants, businesses, and careers—everything has a start point. When you begin a business, you may start with small capital...

MOVING TOWARDS PERFECTION - HIS WORK IS PERFECT

Deuteronomy 32:4 (NKJV) Says; “He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.” This verse gives us a clear picture of the nature of God. The word Rock shows us His stability, His strength, and His faithfulness. When the Bible says "His work is perfect,"  it means that everything He does is complete, whole, and without mistake. We may not always understand it, but His plans and works are flawless. God always acts according to His holy standard, and His uprightness calls us to trust Him and to follow His ways. Our God is perfect. He is holy, and holiness means perfection. The Bible says: “Be holy, for I am holy”  (1 Peter 1:16 ). Perfection has levels. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the highest level of perfection. He has preeminence in everything, and He fills all in all (Colossians 1:18 ; Ephesians 1:23 ). The Greek word for perfect is teleios. It means complete, mature, whole, and brought to its...

HOPE AS A DRIVING FORCE

Romans 8:24–25 says: “For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope... But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” Hope is not based on what is visible. If we already see the result, then there is no reason to hope. Hope works in the unseen—it pushes us to trust God for what has not yet appeared. It is tied to perseverance, meaning we must endure with patience while waiting for God’s promises. Hope is the anchor of the believer, sustaining us when life looks uncertain. It is a gift of salvation, drawing us to trust that God will fulfill what He has promised. It is a force that gives you strength to move on. When you hope, you hope for what you do not see. So in your life, if you don’t see anything happening yet, it is hope that will carry you through that moment. Hope is your strength to move forward when you don’t see your future clearly, when you don’t know how you will get a job or how you will come out of the situation...

RENEWAL THROUGH GRACE

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” II Corinthians 4:16 NKJV This week we are learning about the strength to move forward. Moving forward is needed in your life, career, ministry, and faith. But how do you do it when you feel weak and tired? The answer is God’s grace. Paul speaks about the daily renewal of the inner life through God’s grace. The “outward man” refers to the physical body that grows weaker with age, hardship, and suffering. But the “inward man” represents the soul and spirit that, by the power of God’s grace, grows stronger each day. Paul had many trials in his ministry, but he did not lose hope because he knew the secret of strength: the daily renewal given by God.  Grace is the unmerited, undeserved, and unearned favor of God. It is His kindness, forgiveness, salvation, and strength freely given. Grace means God gives us what we do not deserve. That is why Paul c...

SUFFICIENT GRACE

Image
“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” II Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) Paul asked God three times to remove the thorn in his flesh (2 Corinthians 12:7–8). But God gave him an answer that has carried hope for many people: “My grace is sufficient for you.” God was saying, “Paul, I may not remove the thorn, but I will give you strength to live above it.” This is the beauty of sufficient grace: God does not need you to be perfect to use you. You don’t have to be flawless to fulfill His purpose. Your weakness does not cancel your calling. In fact, His strength shines brightest in your weakness. Think of Gideon. He was poor, afraid, and felt unworthy. Yet God chose him to deliver Israel (Judges 6:15). Gideon’s poverty and insecurity did not stop God’s power. Likewise, the thorn in your life — whether it is a challenge in your...

"STRENGTH TO MOVE FORWARD: (DETERMINATION)"

Proverbs 24:16 NIV says; For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes. Determination is the strong will and firm decision to keep going until you reach a goal, no matter the challenges, delays, or difficulties along the way. It is the inner strength that makes a person stay focused, disciplined, and committed even when things get tough. Determination helps you push through obstacles, resist distractions, and not give up easily. In simple words: determination means refusing to quit until what you set out to do is accomplished. 📖 Key Examples of Determination in the Bible Jesus Christ – He was determined to fulfill His mission of salvation. Even when facing the cross, He prayed, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” (Luke 22:42 NKJV). His determination was grounded in obedience to God. Paul the Apostle – Despite persecutions, imprisonment, and ha...
